Professor Davey Jones is a leading environmental scientist and public health researcher at Bangor University. A scientific advisor to UK and Welsh governments during the COVID-19 pandemic, his work focuses on wastewater-based epidemiology to track infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and wider population health trends.
Professor Barbara Kasprzyk-Hordern is an internationally recognised expert in wastewater-based epidemiology and environmental public health at the University of Bath. She develops innovative water-based surveillance systems to track infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and community health, advancing the use of wastewater data for public health protection and pandemic preparedness.
